Arranging A Funeral
Funeral arrangements can be organised in your home, or ours, wherever you and your family feel most comfortable at this time.
We realise the idea of death and arranging a funeral is a difficult subject, however, when the time comes and you experience the unfortunate loss of a loved one, these difficult decisions must become necessary.
Making any decisions during a time of grief and heartache can be overwhelming, we can be with you to help and make the process much easier.
When someone dies, what do I need to do?
If your loved one is at home, under palliative care – call their doctor.
If at home and passing is unexpected – call 000.
In a hospital or nursing home – nursing staff will make contact with the nominated funeral Service, who will take your loved one into their care.
Meeting with the funeral director
If the wishes of the deceased are known, some of the decision making on the family is made a little easier. Your Funeral Director will help guide, advise and assist you in planning the funeral service to honor your loved one.
All funerals are ‘unique’, providing that it is meaningful and loving for you, your family and your loved one and has ‘captured’ their celebration of life.
